Raising a Pure Generation: Purity
If our children are going to have strong values when it comes to remaining pure in heart, mind, and body; it is critical to have a plan. You would never expect your child to finish a marathon if they could barely run around the track. This session gives you the foundational components necessary in charting a course for passing your family’s values to the next generation.
Parents learn four key qualities they have to pursue to guard their children’s purity: (1) Intentional, (2) Purposeful,<(3) Protecting, and (4) Persevering. Also learn the practical side of how when our children participate in chores and other activities it prepares them to stand by their convictions in future situations that could challenge their values.
- A purposeful plan for our children to transfer our Biblical values to them
- How God’s creative design for sex within marriage trumps Hollywood’s broken love story
- What kinds of seeds will grow into virtues that we want our children to internalize
- How to become a gatekeeper to your home and mitigate negative influences
- Don’t miss the window of opportunity: this is the time that our children are internalizing their values and convictions
- How do we as Christians deal with pressure to have “everything figured out,” when we don’t?
- Develop strong “purity muscles” in your children
Participants will also be pleased to find features such as tech tips, ways to connect, suggestions for frequently asked questions, weekly challenges, recommended resources that have been carefully reviewed by GOV, follow-up devotions and more.
Do it as a group! Facilitator's guide is available with suggestions for how to design Raising a Pure Generations for cell groups, small groups, mom’s groups and parenting classes.
Overall, there is a total of 10 Raising a Pure Generation sets of interactive eLearning courses (Parent's Guide and Facilitator's Guide) available with topics that range from Family Connectedness, Purity, Media Discernment, Birds and Bees, and Relationship.
